Why does the SAVE button open a name picker when I haven't typed a name?
The Mixer treats "clicked SAVE without a name" as "help me name it." The picker opens, you pick from three AI-generated candidates, and the save fires automatically with the chosen name. One gesture, not two clicks. The ✨ NAME IT button works manually if you want to browse names without the auto-save.
What's the difference between SAVE BLEND and SAVE AS VARIANT?
SAVE BLEND commits the current state. If you're editing an existing recipe, it overwrites. SAVE AS VARIANT always creates a NEW recipe with a (variant) suffix on the name — useful for forking a blend without losing the original.
What does ↻ REMIX % do?
Rerolls the percentages on your current oils. Same composition, different relative weights. Pure local mutation — nothing saves. Useful for exploring variations on a balanced blend.
My pairings panel is empty. Why?
The Pairings engine needs at least one oil on the bench. If you have oils added and the panel still doesn't show, your oils may not have classified families — that happens when a vendor publishes notes the classifier can't map. Email support and we'll force-classify.
Can I share a recipe with someone who isn't on BLNDR?
Yes — every saved recipe has a public share URL at blndr.io/r/[shortId]. Anyone with the link sees the recipe + ingredients + your custom share tagline. They can't edit or duplicate it without their own BLNDR account.
What happens if a fragrance oil I use gets discontinued?
It gets a DISC badge on its library row. Click into it and the Oil Engine suggests replacements — same-name matches at other vendors first, then high-similarity matches. Click Swap; your recipes update. The discontinued row stays so you can pour through remaining stock.
Why does the Batch Planner say I'm short on oil but let me MAKE BATCH anyway?
Stock check is a hint, not a hard gate. Your Frag Lab inventory (the actual bottles on your shelf) is the source of truth — BLNDR's counts can drift if you've poured outside the app. The MAKE BATCH button stays clickable so you can override the warning when you know better.
I got bumped to /auth/2fa-admin/verify. What's that?
Admin accounts require a fresh TOTP code on every sign-in. Open your authenticator app, type the 6-digit code, you're in. If you've lost your authenticator, see Account Security → Lost your TOTP app.
What's the difference between My Waxes and Containers?
Wax is what you melt; container is what you pour into. My Waxes tracks bulk wax pellets/flakes by the pound. Containers track jars/tins — each has fill weight (oz of wax it holds), wick + lid defaults, sell price, and now a refill mode for customer-brought jars.
My screenshot looks weirdly tall and narrow when I report a bug. Is that normal?
Long pages capture the full document, not just the visible viewport. So a 5,000-pixel-tall page produces a 5,000-pixel-tall screenshot. We resize the longest dimension to 1280px before upload — your bug report includes the whole page, just compressed.
How do I import my recipes from a CSV?
Recipes → IMPORT button (top-right). Download the template from the Recipes section to see the expected column order. Header row required; quoted strings can contain commas; percentages must sum to 100. Fuzzy oil matching catches "and" vs "&" and other typos.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes — Settings → subscription panel, or directly through Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. No data is deleted on cancellation — re-subscribing restores everything.
